1.27 Please see the item description for information regarding sizing.

We encourage all customers to measure the circumference of their head & provide this in the notes section.
The average adult head measures between 21 & 24 inches.
To allow the elastic to stretch & stay in place our standard elastic length is 20 inches.
We are able to adjust this if requested to do so at the point of ordering.

The fabric of our bonnets, when opened out, is circular and therefore measured by it's diameter.
Our standard adult bonnet is approximately 22 inches, which is ideal for mid- long length, medium thickness hair.
If you have short hair a smaller 21 inch bonnet may be more suited.
We have XL & XXL sizes for thicker & longer hair.

Diameter of bonnets is displayed to ensure the correct size is selected. Once a bonnet has been made the diameter of the bonnet cannot be altered.

The size of the elastic can be altered, if contacted within 14 days of delivery we are able to resize the elastic of a  bonnet for free. Customer is responsible for any shipping costs associated with this service, including return delivery.

1.28 Returns:

Returns can be accepted for made to order, hand made items subject to the following conditions;

(i) Contact has been made with Beautifully Biracial within 14 days of delivery.

(ii) The item has not been worn - This covers any amount of time excluding trying the item on. The item must be tried on with clean, dry hair and no make up or moisturisers etc which may mark or stain the fabric.

(iii) We receive the item in its original condition.

A refund or exchange will not be processed until the returned item has been received by Beautifully Biracial and it can be confirmed that points i - iii above have been met.

1.29 Our current processing times are:

We reserve the right to extend these processing times when necessary & this will be communicated at the point of order.

1.30 The smallest bonnet we make is 1-2 years. Any request for younger will be made to 1-2 years.

Drawstring bonnets are not available for under 5s. This is due to small parts which can come loose. Requests for drawstring bonnets for under 5s will not be honoured and will be made with fixed elastic.

In accordance with Lullaby Trust recommendations, we do not advise placing anything on small babies heads when sleeping.

see more info here: https://www.lullabytrust.org.uk/safer-sleep-advice/

The use of a bonnet is at the care givers digression.
